Niacinamide (vitamin B3) effectively ensures skin repair, production of collagen and fatty acids, which tackles fine lines, pigmentation and impurities. As well as this, it has a positive effect on the formation of ceramides, which are added to the formula as a second component. The ceramides, or skin’s own lipids, ensure that the skin’s barrier function is restored. This results in less sensitivity, damage repair and better hydration. The third component is the oil of the Immortelle (straw) flower, which is known as the wound healer among the essential oils. For example, Immortelle has a restorative effect on scars, burns, acne, skin allergies and couperosis, along with having a stimulating effect on the immune system.
