Detox Set for Dry and Sensitive Skin

The Detox Set for Dry and Sensitive Skin is for anyone with normal to oily skin, who wants to take better care of their skin and remove products with chemical ingredients from their routine.

The Gentle Cleansing Milk gently cleanses even the driest skin. It’s based on aloe vera juice that soothes and protects the skin. The skin restoring oils of grape seed, rose hip seed, sweet almond and argan together with squalane provide a protective effect. The fresh water lily with a hint of citrus provides a wonderful fragrance.

The Balancing Toner contains floral waters of rose, cornflower and witch hazel that all cleanse, calm and hydrate your skin. Apple cider vinegar restores the skin’s delicate pH balance to help prevent inflammation and the build up of impurities. Lemon balm also calms and tightens the skin.

The Smoothing Peel not only removes dead skin cells but also ensures that your skin is able to hold moisture for longer. Fruit acids have an activating effect on the underlying skin layers which become firmer and more collagen is produced. Also blurs pigmentation and minor irregularities over time. Fruit acids (pineapple and bilberry) are the perfect way to gently and thoroughly exfoliate your skin. Corallina seaweed is rich in magnesium and calcium that helps maintain the hydrolipid balance of the skin. This improves the skin’s suppleness and moisture and strengthens it’s barrier function. The red algae has antibacterial properties and contains many antioxidants that are anti-aging.

WHEN & HOW TO USE IT

1. Stop using all products (including make-up, foundations and sunscreen products) which contains any of the following ingredients: mineral oil, paraffin / paraffinum / paraffinum liquidum, microcrystalline wax / cera microcrystallina, petrolatum, vaseline, ozokerit / ceresin, dimethicone / cyclomethicone.

2. Cleanse your skin twice a day with the Witlof Gentle Cleansing Milk and finish with the Witlof Balancing Toner.

3. As an extra measure we recommend using the Witlof Smoothing Peel once a week for added exfoliation.

4. Keep detoxing your skin this way for at least two, preferably four weeks, without using a cream or oil.

After about 28 days, all skin cells in your face will be renewed. During that period of time, your skin has removed most of the residues of synthetic substances, perfumes and mineral oils that have built up on your skin.

For the first few days you may experience a tight feeling,  bumps, spots or flaking. Do not be alarmed by this. Give your skin time and you will see that it soon returns to its natural balance.

Your skin will be healthier and cleaner than ever before as well as function better. As a result, it will no longer be shiny, dry or dull but balanced and radiant!
