Recognising Acne

Acne is a very common inflammatory skin condition, especially in puberty, but also in your thirties. If you have acne, you are likely to experience pus-filled spots, whiteheads (blocked pores closed below the surface of the skin) and black heads (blocked pores open on the surface of the skin). Often these can be caused by excess oil production or when the pores of your skin become blocked with bacteria or dead skin cells. It can even be affected by your health and lifestyle, such as diet, stress or hormonal changes. Spots may also appear on the chest, neck and back.

Rosehip extract contains vitamin C, which is an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant ingredient and can be beneficial in soothing any irritation or swelling. It can also help to fade acne scars, as it boosts collagen production, which helps in rebuilding your skin.
