Dry skin vs. dehydrated skin — what’s the difference?
Dry skin or dehydrated skin? It’s not always easy to tell the difference. Your skin needs both moisture and oil to stay in good condition.
Dehydrated skin refers to a temporary skin condition caused by a lack of moisture. It often feels tight or uncomfortable, may show fine dehydration lines, and can appear sensitive or red.
Dry skin, on the other hand, is a skin type. It naturally lacks oils (lipids), which also makes it harder to retain moisture.
Ultimately, it all comes down to your skin’s hydrolipid balance — and the great news is that you can improve both with the same set of products.
The best routine for dry and dehydrated skin

Here’s your ideal routine:

Cleanse properly before starting your skincare routine. Use the Gentle Cleansing Milk daily, ideally both morning and evening (read more in our blog on cleansing to learn why).

Rinse your skin and spray the Balancing Toner directly onto your face.

Follow with the Hydrating Calming Lotion, which provides extra moisture thanks to organic Aloe Vera juice and hyaluronic acid. Just one gram of hyaluronic acid can hold up to six kilos of water — no wonder it’s such a hero ingredient for boosting skin hydration!
