The difference between "natural" and "organic" in skin care

Manufacturers often use the term "natural" on the packaging of their skin care products if a small percentage of the product is already of natural origin. For example, a single drop of olive oil can already show "with natural ingredients" on a package, while that drop of natural olive oil in a bath of liquid paraffin swims. Good for your skin? We don't think so.

Why is natural skin care better?

It is preferable to use organic ingredients in products because they are grown clean, without fertilizer and pesticides that can end up in the extracts of a plant (especially in the oil) and therefore in your product.

Can natural skin care change your skin condition?

Yes, but that's good! If you switch from unnatural, artificial skin care products, your skin will of course respond to this. In the first instance you can suffer from very dry skin or even acne. This is because your skin experiences withdrawal symptoms of a product that contains an addictive unnatural substance, such as paraffin. After a few weeks your skin returns to its natural state. The best organic skin care products

We believe that you should thoroughly investigate what you put on your face or by asking the manufacturers yourself, or by going through the ingredient list of a product - then you know how clean, natural or organic it is real. Try to find products without artificial ingredients such as mineral oil or silicone that can hide your pores and cause irritation or acne.

Our chicory skincare products are 100% vegan and natural, and all or part of those natural ingredients are of biological origin, that differs per product. You can always read more about every ingredient that we process in our products in our 'ingredients' tab, in addition to our product descriptions.
